Illustrations in the freehand Appliqué are derived from patchwork and quilting concepts, but with using the special technique developed in HANEEN ART.  This combination opens a new platform with unlimited expressions and images.

 Traced back to 3400 BC, patchwork and quilting continue to inspire many across cultures and traditions.  These can be easily recognized in old beautiful Palestinian dresses.  The illustrations shown here exemplify the technique I developed by joining colored and patterned fabrics together.
